Homophonic! at the Midsumma Festival

Homophonic!'s flagship event is crossing the river and heading southside to the amazing, iconic, and very queer Theatre Works St Kilda. 

Homophonic! is bringing the Disco Ball to the Concert Hall for it's 16th trailblazing year.

Friday 6th and Saturday 7th February!

Come to experience the soundworld of queer composers today, creating a lineage from the trailblazing LGBTIQ+ composers of the past through to today's bright musical future. 

Performed by: The Homophonic! chamber ensemble and The Consort of Melbourne led by Steven Hodgson.

Directed and presented by Miranda Hill. 
Winner of the APRA/AMCOS Art Music Awards "Victorian Luminary" in 2024.

Finalist in the Melbourne Awards for services to the LGBTQA+ community.
Finalist in the Globe Pride Awards for services to the arts.
